Film-making is the best job in the world. Every day is different and I’m lucky enough to work with crews who are all at the top of their game – it doesn’t get much better.
Anyway, I was sacked from Harrods in 1990 for being completely rubbish at selling china and glass, so I started making films instead. They probably did us both a favour!
