FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD
Fierce Kitty’s aerial unit is one of the few licensed drone operators with approval to fly at the University of Oxford’s departments and colleges.
We have a long-standing relationship with Oxfordshire County Council’s Film Office, Thames Valley Police and the university’s Estates Services, enabling us to manage safe areas of operation and streamline the permissions process.
Below is a selection of some of the many locations at which we've flown for the university.
THE RADCLIFFE CAMERA / BODLEIAN LIBRARY
CHEMISTRY RESEARCH LABORATORY
BLAVATNIK SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT
EXETER COLLEGE / COHEN QUAD
HISTORY OF SCIENCE MUSEUM
DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY
The first in our series of seasonal films for University Parks was filmed entirely from the air, except for the bumblebee sequence, which was captured using a handheld gimbal rig with some creative movement and then re-timed in post.
Short aerial promo of Wytham Village for the university’s Residential Lettings office, to coincide with the launch of their new website.
We’re in our 8th year as a licensed drone operator, and one of the few to maintain an extended £10m Public Liability Insurance policy (a requirement to fly at University of Oxford locations).
